We're moving

Moving house - again. This is getting to be too much of a regular feature of my life, but it doesn't get any easier. So many things to remember, so little time to get them done before we move. In fact, many of the necessities (changing recorded address at all of the various financial institutions, for instance) can only be done after the move. This is a pain, since that's when I can't find any of the necessary paperwork. Usually, it turns up just before we move next time...

First draft of this went missing in action - I was musing that it looked simpler than Radio Userland (which, incidentally, won't even let me at my own postings on my own hard drive without a bit of manual palaver - null points for that one). So I herewith declare this blog open - may God bless her and all who post in her.

Postscript - managed to rescue the original, which wouldn't publish because (for reasons that currently escape me) blogger.com couldn't locate my FTP server. I'm trying with a fixed IP address now.
